"Because we had a car, this locations was perfect. In the mornings, we would sit on the porch and enjoy watching the birds, horses and cows in the field behind the property. The scenery overlooking the volcano is beautiful. The drive into the city was quick and easy. The family who own the company are kind and generous and took care of our needs. Google translate was an asset to alleviate the language barrier."

"The balcony is nice, to sit, drink tea, and view the Arenal volcano covered with clouds. Parking is in the place."

"The rooms furniting is very simple, the TV remote control did not have batarries. We arrived in the evening, and it was hard to know where exactly the place was. There was no sign and no person in the reception."

"The location was perfect for us. Off the beaten path a bit with no traffic noise whatsoever. Being just 2 miles from the base of the volcano was spectacular, unmatched views. The covered porch was a huge asset as you could enjoy the sights and sounds even when it was raining. The host, Diana, was fantastic. Very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had."

"The property next door had some noisy guests, but that's not something Chongos can do anything about. Other than that, there was nothing we didn't like."
