"Our very welcoming host Ben was always happy to help in any way he possibly could. It was the only property in Costa Rica where we had sufficient shelves and places to hang things in our room. The shared kitchen was well equipped and meant guests got to meet each other, nice atmosphere. We loved the pool for cooling off in the afternoon. Location was excellent for the national park, bus station, restaurants, supermarket and the town’s main street."

"Very difficult to think of anything. It was our favourite place to stay in Costa Rica. My only criticism would be that our room was described as accessible and although it was fine for us, the shower would not have been accessible to someone in a wheelchair as there was a step to get into it."

"Everything was perfect! We had a room with sharing bathroom but the bathroom was next door and sharing with only one other room. There was a well-equipped kitchen and a small swimming pool available. The owner was very friendly and helpful."

"Great location. Nice small pool to dip in after a day in the national park. Nice staff, even after checkout we were allowed to use the pool and keep our bags at the reception. Kitchen is nice to cook. Air-conditioning in the room."
