"Allotjament ideal per a passar 2-3 nits a Tortuguero. Està localitzat al poble de San Francisco, a 15 minuts en llanxa de Tortuguero. És molt més tranquil .Doña Gloria facilita la possibilitat de fer el tour nocturn de les tortugues i el passeig pels canals amb ells. La veritat és que val molt la pena i recomano reservar els tours amb ells; el tour pels canals va ser espectacular i qui ens feia de guia ho va fer de 10. Ademés, al reservar amb ells et faciliten l’esmorçar inclòs en el preu la reserva, per cert boníssim amb productes locals i elaborats per Doña Gloria. La piscina és un punt important també; s’agraeix poder banyar-te al venir d’una excursió o fer passar si cal algunes hores mortes banyant-hi i refrescant-te; els nens van estar encantats"
"Tot i que inicialment et fan creure que estan pendents de la teva arribada i que et gestionen el tranfer ells mateixos des de la Pavona, amb un mail uns dies previs, posteriorment a ultima hora et diuen que no podran venir a buscar-te i et gestionen el trasllat amb una de les empresses habituals amb els preus també habituals. Seria millor que d’entrada no et confunguessin ; a la tornada va passar el mateix. El poble de San Francisco és molt petit; l’allotjament no ofereix dinars ni sopars; ens van recomanar Restaurant Bambú molt senzill i car per la qualitat-preu i ademés no acceptaven pagar amb targeta."
"La sorpresa: la piscina!!! Vam estar molt be a la piscina. Esmorzar boníssim! Glòria molt agradable i organitza les excursions per tu amb transport per anar i tornar i no t’has de preocupar de res. San Francisco molt millor que el poble de Tortuguero, molt agradable i menys turistic i tranquil. Està molt prop de Tortuguero . Ens vam enamorar dels gossets de la cabana i del poble! Super simpàtics. Les zones comuns genials, fa calor i s’està molt be fora. Les hamaques meravelloses, vam dormir algunes hores allí també!"

"Sergio's tours (both morning and night boat) were the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Similar wildlife tours in Monteverde and Manuel Antonio have not come close in terms of guide quality. He is clearly very passionate about the wildlife. Gloria's breakfasts left a similar impression! We will miss her traditional breakfasts which while common in style in the other areas we have visited, were not replicated in quality! This was a lovely family host experience and we look forward to coming back one day. Pura vida :)"

"Great location in San Francisco, a small village a boat ride away from Tortuguero . Hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was great, canal rides are a must as this is what Tortuguero has to offer. Tortuguero mountain is a 10 minute walk away. Not really a mountain but a series of steps up to a fine view point."

The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."

"An absolutely fantastic villa. The photos on Booking.com really do not do this place justice — the villa is much larger than it appears online. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the surrounding nature is simply stunning. Be prepared to wake up to howler monkeys and to see toucans and macaws flying overhead — it truly feels like being in the middle of a nature documentary. Despite it not being mentioned in the listing, the villa does have free WiFi and it’s excellent, which was a very pleasant surprise. The host, Gustavo, was very helpful and responsive. This place is a true gem and an absolute must if you are staying in Uvita."
