"Generous and tastie breakfast. Lovely green location with lots of wildlife to see. We saw monkeys macraw hummingbird iguanas here comfy bed and pillows great a/c. Very friendly and helpful staff."

The property we stayed in was a great size overall and very clean. The staff on site were all very nice and always on hand to answer any questions. The breakfast included was also one of the nicest we had during our Central America trip."

Even with a slight language barrier, they were welcoming, caring and truly go above and beyond for their guests!! "We absolutely loved our stay at Bongo Hotel – it was one of our favourite places in Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and the staff were consistently kind, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the pool is a perfect size for a proper swim or simply cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The whole property is beautifully maintained, creating a calm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were the best we had during our travels – fresh, delicious and the perfect start to each day. Having monkeys and macaws join you at breakfast only makes the experience even more unforgettable! It’s also wonderfully quiet location, which makes it feel even more special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here."

"Molt bona qualitat preu. Els amfitrions van estar molt servicials i ens van donar molts consells. La casa i les habitacions molts completes i pràctiques. Ens va encantar l'estufa de llenya i el menjador per passar l'estona. A més hi ha una passarel·la a mode de balcó que rodeja la casa des de la que pots veure el volcà Poás. Ens hagués agradat quedar-nos un dia més per conèixer millor l'entorn! Molt recomanable!"

The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."
