The location was at the foot of the hill, which was a bit disappointing. The uphill walk did not get me much higher and I could not progress further along that path.

"What an amazing place to stay. the house is beautiful and well decorated. The pool is amazing and made our holiday. The beds were very comfortable. The showers and bath were also very good. Plenty of cooking utensils and glasses and plates etc."

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

Ils ont un restaurant avec du choix à la carte, ce qui est un point fort puisqu’on est dans un tout petit village où il n’y a pas grand chose Attention, le village de Kong Lor est très éloigné de Na Hin. Notre auberge nous avait dit qu’on ne mettrait que 40 minutes à rejoindre l’auberge. On a mis 1h30, ne vous faites pas surprendre par la nuit qui tombe. C’est dangereux entre les nids-de-poule et les vaches en plein milieu de la route"

"Everything was excellent, good stuff. Clean and comfortable room. The room had air conditioning and a balcony with a nice view. If you want to relax in a quiet place with good nature, with good housewives, I recommend this house. I think next year I will definitely come again."

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.
