Not much to say here, we only missed an iron and ironing board, but that’s a minor detail really…

Where do I begin? From the moment we arrived there were issues: the wifi didn’t work, there was no power cable for the tv in the lounge room, there were no dinner knives, there was ONE pan that could be used on the induction cooktop, there was a pod coffee machine but no pods and also not a common type of pod so couldn’t purchase the correct ones either, there were no coat hangers in any of the wardrobes, there were no sponges or clothes for cleaning and wiping. When I reached out to the property I was told our issues had been ‘escalated’ For reference, we were in the house for 10 days, I was there for work, and had no internet and basically nothing in the house that actually made the house function. On day 7 a cleaner came and gave us some sponges and pods, and some dip spreading knives (haha). I contacted booking.com to get assistance and they contacted the residence and then said that they were not confident that they would do anything to help us and they were correct. My advice would be to absolutely steer clear of this place, get your money back while you can. They clearly don’t respect their guests and have no intention of fixing any of the issues that are present.

There was a bit of back-and-forth with staff regarding the check-in instructions, which was a little frustrating as I didn’t receive the text message until the third follow-up call. Not a huge issue, but something worth mentioning. Upon arrival, there was no welcome booklet, and unfortunately the most disappointing part of the stay was finding stains on the bed sheets. I took photos of these. We also found it odd that there were no doona covers—just loose sheets with the doona placed between them. There were also previous guests’ belongings still in the bedside tables, so it might be worth checking these more thoroughly after each checkout. Lastly, the floors weren’t very clean. They felt sticky and when I tested a small area with a damp paper towel, it came up black. It was unpleasant enough that we had to wear socks during our stay. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests. Thank you.
