"The location is perfect. The bay is quiet, even during ‘boat hours 11-4’ as there is an outcrop of rock separating the hostal from the ‘day visitors’ beach. Food is delicious, a tad more expensive than in the rest of Colombia - but that’s to be expected. Well worth it for the view and great cooking. We had a private room which was lovely. The walk round the bay and simply relaxing is truly amazing. Crystal clear waters, snorkel hire available and well worth doing. Helpful, happy and kind staff. We hiked to the next bay, one of the team Oscar, guided us through the mangrove waters, which was an incredible experience- and boy did we need him!!"

"Power was on occasionally, and not at night so no fan at night - it was rather hot! WiFi was available for additional cost, we didn’t bother it was lovely to totally disconnect."

"The beach this hostel is on is absolutely stunning - the snorkelling is some of the best I’ve ever seen, right at your doorstep. I really appreciated that they offered the snorkeling gear for free, we went at least twice a day. It’s a fantastic place to disconnect and spend time in nature. The food from the restaurant is beautiful, fresh fish caught by the family next door I believe. Throughout the day, they provided free coffee and hot water to make tea which is a nice plus. The owners seem to really care about keeping the place clean, we often saw staff sweeping and mopping, and the bathrooms were generally always very clean. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay here!"

"This is a fairly new hostel, so I’m sure they are working on these things, but there were a few things which could be improved. The main one being the dorm room: this area has a lot of mosquitos. I am really surprised they do not have mosquito nets for the beds. The other issue is the room gets VERY hot as there is no fan and very little ventilation. The first night I probably slept 1-2 hours, I kept having to go outside from the heat. Since there is no electricity at night I don’t know what the hostel can do about this, but i found the heat in the room difficult. The second issue is there is only one toilet and shower for the whole hostel. I often had to wait quite a long time to use the toilet as there was always someone in there, sometimes there would be a queue. I also didn’t like that the hostel didn’t provide drinking water, you are very isolated at this beach and the hostel offers 500ml water bottles for $8k, you can’t really get water anywhere else. It would also be nice if you could buy snacks at the hostel, like chips, biscuits or fruit for example. If you get hungry you just have to wait for the restaurant next door to serve food which could be a few hours away."

"The staff is very very kind, always trying to provide the best experience. The location of the hostel is perfect for those who like the sea and calm areas. There’s a reef directly in front of the hostel, where you can snorkel and see lots of animals, including calamaris and barracudas. Also kayaking! BThe beach is very relaxed, beautiful, a perfect spot for a getaway. And from there you can also go hiking with a local guide."

"I think it’s just good to know that the access to the beach is by a rough 1 hour boat ride, so your package needs to be water proof/protected. Also there’s no kitchen to cook your own meals and no markets and stuff around so you will eat there everyday. The food is delicious though, just not very budget friendly."

"Playa Cinto is one of the best place I've been in the world. Awesome snorkeling/freediving in the reef by the beach, outstanding beautiful beach, the restaurant prepared the best fish and langostinos I've ever had. We spent 3 nights there and the staff took very good care of us and we became good friends. We will certainly return."

"El lugar es soñado, muy tranquilo si quieres descansar y a la vez admirar lo más lindo de Tayrona. María, Camilo y Hugo eran muy atentos a nuestras necesidades. El desayuno muy rico, tiene opciones de almuerzo y cena. También cuenta con un bar y snacks. Las habitaciones eran cómodas, se entiende que por la energía no podía funcionar aire acondicionado, Pero había ventilador. Tienen kayak, snorkel y lugares alrededores para caminar por la playa. El ambiente muy agradable, alejado del ruido de cabo San Juan y sus vendedores."

"El lugar está ubicado en plena bahía Cinto, con muy buena plata y una excelente vista. La atención es correcta y las instituciones son cómodas . Hay habitaciones con baño privado y otras con baño compartido. Tener en cuenta que por ser una playa aislada, solo se accede por bote o tras una larga caminata y la luz depende de um generador por lo que después de las 23 se corta"
