"Stayed in a dorm room and it was a really great set up-easy access plug sockets for everyone, lockers, individual lights and everyone was respectful. Tidy and clean hostel with a very good kitchen area. Staff are very accommodating and friendly."

"Super friendly and accommodating staff, plus lovely cats and dogs! Really nicely designed hostel. Rooms are comfortable and common areas are clean and spacious. Kitchen is particularly good with all the cooking utensils you could need. Walking distance to the centre of town and in a quiet area."

"Owner was a short with us on immediate arrival. Understand he was concerned re his dog - we left the gate open to get our bags in heavy rain (no signs to warm us re the dog) - but to start the conversation off by telling us off like school kids instead of welcoming us as paying mature clients was not on - however bad a day he had."

"Beautiful old wooden building, comfortable rooms, and well equipped shared kitchen with nice dining and lounge area. Close to centre, bus stops etc."

"Minor downsides: the staff were fine but could have been more helpful (we could have done with advice on what to do and where to go); and there are a lot of rules, some of which make sense (for example about noise), some rather less (for example, not doing washing in your room)."

"I like everything special the kitchen area , it was really clean, and dinner area was very comfortable to be there..the bathroom also was clean This a quiet house ideal for rest and relax. The staff was very friendly they tried always help"

"Charming, impeccably maintained house 6-8 minutes walk to the centre of town. Cosy common area, gorgeous garden, well equipped kitchen. English speaking staff."

"The first night the ceiling in my room leaked due to an issue with the bathroom upstairs. Fortunately it was not onto the bed or my luggage. They gave me a bucket as the property was fully booked. The second night it leaked again and I was moved to another room. The owner assured me that this problem would be rectified immediately."
