"The location is superb, especially for breakfast when the sun is on the property. We were able to have breakfast on the balcony/terrace looking out over the estuary. Lots of wading birds and even saw some dolphins. Really good to be able to stay in a palafitos, even if it's not one of the original ones."

"A lovely cabin right on the lake! It's very spacious and well-equipped with everything you might need. The hosts and staff were incredibly kind and friendly throughout our stay."

"The mornings can be quite chilly before the fireplace gets going, and it does take a little while to warm up the space. While the fire is super romantic and cozy, just be sure to keep the early morning cold in mind!"

"Where do I start? This is an exceptional stay, the location is wonderful with the sea advancing underneath the property at high tide. The bird life is easy to spot from inside the cabin and the balcony is a good size to sit out in. You can stargaze from there at night. Inside the log burner keeps everything cozy and the kitchen is well equipped. There are shops within a 10 minute walk. Castro is easily accessible by local bus. If you don’t speak Spanish, the drivers are very helpful. Castro itself is a good visit with lots of shops and cafes and good views. The staff overcome language problems with ease simply with the desire for you to enjoy your stay. There are cats, chickens and a very engaging young dog. I don’t give 10/10s. This is a 10/10."

"Lo mejor es la vista que tienen las cabañas, tienen unos grandes ventanales que dan directo al mar, además vez muchas aves. La ubicación es excelente, esta muy cerca de Castro y es muy seguro. Lo mejor que aceptan mascotas"

"Excelente ubicación tiene una hermosa vista a mar, donde se distinguen gaviotas, aves de distintas especies y de noche la luna en sus distintas versiones. Calma y tranquilidad nos acompañaron siempre."

"Nos encantó la vista, la excelente ubicación para salir a recorrer otros lugares y después regresar a este punto a descansar. No está en el centro mismo de Castro, qué es más caótico a cierta hora del día! Puedes encender fuego, ya que cuenta con combustión a leña. Lugar limpio y acogedor"
