"We absolutely loved Poppies Beach Bach. It has privacy, amazing views and access to spectacular sunrises. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Even if the beach is coral there is a small “pool” at the front we made use of it and Batch is 5 min away from Muri beach. The host, Bianca is also incredibly kind and helpful. We will definitely come back."

"Beautiful view, outdoor heated bath, cute chickens, 20 steps from the ocean, cute outdoor area, super lovely host who provides a lot of informational booklets and stuff in the room about the island, spacious, affordable accommodation, nice shower, reasonably clean but not hotel standard clean (clean enough to not complain everyday) , right next to a cat sanctuary and best burger place on the island. Lovely place. Super cute decor. Home line to make calls around the island if need be, this was handy as we couldn’t get a sim on our first two days. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone I know and love even considering the minor issues we encountered - a fantastic property, fantastic host, fantastic location."

"- even with the plastic for the deck down, the sea spray still gets on the clothes and linen from the line leaving them feeling unclean, so maybe just an indoor clothes horse (better for environment than dryer). — Another issue is, on muggy days the clothes will smell so you have to try plan accordingly for clean clothes and linen. Bad because I have eczema and this was a contribution to a flare up but if you are super outdoorsy I’m sure this will be no issue I just have very sensitive skin! - no spare bedding so if you want to do your bedding you have to make sure that you can get it washed and dried before night time for sleep, this was an issue as we had a very packed holiday. Not a huge issue as we didn’t have any large spills but staying near the beach and being outdoors everyday leads to the bedding feeling icky. - Some knives were rusted and falling out of their handle, no big deal though! - The broom was also rusted and the brush part fell completely off because of this. Bought a replacement brush while we were there as there is no vacuum (better for energy saving which we agree with). I’m sure the host would have got a new one if we let her know but it was a super easy and affordable fix for us so it was no issue. - There is a lot of black mold spread around the fabric items throughout the apartment on the curtains and couch and other fabric surfaces , we felt as if the towels placed on the outdoor couch were there strategically to cover the black mold. The mold is the largest and most concerning issue, considering it’s an island and seems like a spare home, stuff like that is bound to occur but I do think that certain fabric items should be thrown out and replaced."

"We liked everyting, the host Bianca was incredible and helpful, the location perfect, just one minute to the shops, car park next to the house, outside living just perfect, listening to crushing waves sitting on the beach or in the garden. The house clean with everything you need to be self contained. Neighbourhood very friendly. The bus can stop just next to the property if you need it. If you want you can walk to Muri or Avarua on foot, nice walks and perfect views and listening to the waves all the way .... Rarotongan time :-)"
