Muri Lagoon Cottage

"Perfect location with a 1 minute walk to the stunning Muri Lagoon! The cottage is very cute, perfect size for a couple or single (I went solo). I stayed for almost three weeks and it had everything you could need and more! All the kitchen appliances, some staples, full kitchen, bathroom and an outdoor shower for after the beach. Cute little patio, modern TV with streaming, a day bed for naps. Small grocery store less than 5 minute walk away. Right on Muri lagoon one of the best beaches in Rarotonga, I saw turtles twice snorkeling in this lagoon and the sunset/night paddle with KiteSup is right out the front for a magical experience. And close to lots of activities and restaurants and the night market."

"There isn't aircon which as I went peak summer it was pretty hot, but they had fans and you get breeze from the sea. To cool off just go jump in the lagoon out front! Be prepared you are in a tropical location so the mosquitoes will come out! They had insect repellent and coils in the cottage which helped. Also there are some local roosters who live nearby, this goes for pretty much all locations on the island so be prepared for some cockadoodling at random hours of the night. But you do also get to see the chickens and their babies running around the property which is pretty cute"

"Great location at Muri, where there is the night market, bakery, cafe close, dairy, and restaurants by. Easy access to the beach and to the Muri islands. And also, close to activities such as the Lagoon cruises, and etc."

"It would be nice to have air-conditioning in the cottage to help during the hot days. Possibly easy to read signs to show where the outside showers is (around the corner of the cottage), and signs to show where the washing machine is."
