"Just left after 5 nights and already booking to go back. Spacious, spotlessly clean. Directly across from a great supermarket, next door car hire and just on the best snorkelling beach on the island which is private. Manager is incredible, nothing was too much trouble. Cannot recommend enough."

"The villa we stayed in - the two bedroom one - was excellent. Spacious, very clean, well appointed. The fans were appreciated and the air conditioning was great to have on in the evenings before going to bed. We loved the outside terrace area for breakfasts and to lounge around (we did not cook dinners at the property, but it was well equiped for that, including a BBQ). The outdoor shower was also a great feature when we arrived back from the beach salty and sandy. The property does not have direct waterfront, but it's only a short walk (less than 100m down a path) to a superb beach with great snorkeling. We really appreciated the free kayaks, snorkels and reef shoes (although we had brought our own reef shoes). The location is excellent, across the road from a supermarket and short distance to another (Wigmore's - try the soursop icecream if it's available!)."

"Great location and really clean and comfortable accommodation. Snorkelling in front was great too. We rented a two bedroom and one bedroom apartment which was perfect for our family. Couldn’t fault anything! Loved our stay."

"Makayla Palms only has 3 villas (Two 2 bedroom and one family) across the road for a supermarket. The bed and lounge were very comfortable to sleep and sit on. Very good cooking facilities with lots of pots and pans and cups and plates. Easy walk to the beach, they have about 6 kayaks with a trolly to help you transport them to the beach and back. Each villa has clean snorkeling gear with a big stack of beach shoes in the laundry for your use. We will pick Makayla Palms again if/when we visit Makayla Palms again."

"Amazing villa with everything we needed and more. The manager looking after us was amazing, friendly and helpful. We loved the location and the beautiful beaches just a 30 sec walk (we weren't beach front) but it was super private and perfect for our family get away. We enjoyed the kayaks, and the use of the reef shoes and snorkel gear. The room was breezy with fans and air con of needed. At the end of a busy day adventuring we were always so excited to get back to our beautiful relaxing villa."

"Villa Tia was very comfortable and well equipped. Makayla Palms felt quiet and private, but was also very close to a supermarket which was handy. The kayaks and snorkeling gear were great, with less than 1 minute walk to a lovely beach. The team there are very friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to go around the island. 10/10 will be back."

"The place was very thoughtfully put together. The kitchen was kitted out properly, there was an outdoor shower and also a foot bath, big loungers outside, fly screens, modern bathroom etc. The beach was fairly empty and just a minutes walk away."
