Càmpings a Costa d'Ivori

"El lloc té unes vistes dels camps de te impressionants. És molt agradable l'estada i s'hi menja bé."

Tot molt correcte i ajustat a la descripció del lloc, potser milloraria el fet de disposar d'una mica més d'aigua calenta per a la dutxa i poder tenir accés a wifi.

"The road to Carbunari is not the best one, but can be approached with any type of car. The accommodation is setup in a very nice setting, the wooden cabins are close to the forest and the whole place is at the end of the road. No neighbours, no noise, only nature! The owners are awesome people, and they are doing their best to make their guests feel like home. We rarely say this, but we’d be very happy to see them again!"

The road from Oravita is pretty bad, but the one from Bozovici is decent, even tho unpaved.

On Weekends it gets quite loud at the pool area as it is open to foreigners and restaurant guets in general.

"This was a very comfortable modern house like a tiny home but felt spacious. Kids loved sleeping in the loft. It was warm and inviting. The setting is lovely on a river with some small falls. I imagine Iin summer the outdoor bbq area would be very nice. We had a very comfortable night. Free onsen was nice although glad no one else there as it was tiny."

The location is quite far from the train so you need a taxi. The taxi drivers seemed put out to go there she it cost us about $40. Also far from a shop. So bring food or have a car. I like an onsen but it was very tiny. It would be nicer outdoors by the river.

"What a joyful, lovely place!! I am not going to lie: it's in the middle of nowhere, and getting there is a whole adventure (especially if you get the wrong road) but once you reach, it's a fabulous place to be. The owners are so incredibly kind and helpful! They made everything possible and impossible to help us with our stay. We spent 3 nights and it seems we were the first ones to occupy the tent (I must say, the bed was HEAVENLY) so as you can imagine, it was spotless and shiny new. The tent is quite spacious and very comfy. There are two kitchens nearby (beautifully equippped with everything needed and classified rubbish bins) with electricity and plugs (in fact, this is the place to charge your phone). The toilets are also close by (and very clean) and the showers are a joy (loved to be barefoot on the pebbles). They even have gel and shampoo (and it smells great!). Everything is done with love and joy, and it shows. We loved it!"

No complaints, but bear in mind there is no electricity in the tent itself, so in case you want to charge or need electricity you have some charging points or the kitchen. Also wifi is not strong outside the reception area.

"I really enjoyed staying at Camping La Y Griega, in Bocas del Toro. For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

My room had a little ant problem as well as if you actually want a reply from the place you need to call the number that's stuck to the window of the Information building. I messaged multiple times through Booking but never had a reply until I called.

"We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. The ducks quacking and running around was so entertaining and the scones on arrival was such a personal touch. We will be returning very soon. The kids would love it 🥰"

"Aquesta estada ha estat molt millor del que esperava i gran part de la culpa la té el seu propietari, en Kristjan. Les instal·lacions són suficients i netes, amb una sala comuna amb vistes al fiord de Sandavágur càlida i amb totes les comoditats. Però en Kristjan et fa sentir com un convidat especial a casa seva. Vam tenir moltes converses agradables, em va ajudar a traçar les meves rutes excursionistes i fins i tot em va deixar unes botes de caminar després que es fessin malbé les meves. Sens dubte una segona llar on tornar."

During our time we enjoyed delicious meals with the community and had beautiful conversations together, we also welcomed the opportunity to have a camp fire next to the beach. Beside the accommodation we booked a cacao workshop and cacao farm visit, which connected us with the land and surroundings even more."

"The compound is very cosy with lots of fireplaces and areas to play and chill. Although there where a lot of guests the last night we barely noticed them. The outdoor kitchen is very pleasant to use and the showers and toilets where comfortable. We are fond of the place, very easy going, close to nature and basic with a comfort-plus."

We felt lucky we brought our own chairs. The chairs available where great to use for sitting at the table and for eating but not for chilling at the fire pit. The beds where hard. I didn't mind but I can imagine some people don't like a hard matras.
