"Beautiful views from the tent, very peaceful. Loved the sunset and the sunrise. The tents are very spacious and have everything you need: towels, soap, fridge, kitchen that comes with all the bits and bobs to cook."

Entry road was very bumpy.

"Staff was amazing. Rachel went above and beyond any call of duty to have us met from a late bus, organised a park trip and had us dropped in morrogoro. Nesto made sure we were safe in the campground. Breakfast was great, more like brunch.Highly recommend the camping but for the bravehearted...loved sitting around the campfire in the early hours of the morning, listening to the sound of silence and occasionalanimal call, watching the moon sail across the sky from the net window of the tent... the sister hotel nearby has lovely rooms, at a very reasonable rate."

"Petit déjeuner top 👍🏼 Planche apéro top 👍🏼 Décoration top 👍🏼 Équipements de qualité. ( lit, matelas, couette, poêle à pellets, mobilier, douche …) Même les toilettes sèches sont bien faites ! Tout est pensé , il ne manque rien !"

Le seul petit bémol, il manque un chemin ( par exemple en cailloux ) pour moins salir le sol de la bulle, ( ne Paz ramener de la boue s’il pleut ) et peut être y mettre un paillasson à l’entrée.

The camp is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to disconnect and forget about the stress of everyday life. The atmosphere is simply magical. Being surrounded by the desert and having the freedom to walk through the dunes at any time truly makes this place special and unforgettable. The staff were exceptional in every way – always kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They took care of everything and made us feel completely welcome and relaxed throughout our stay. The food was also outstanding – fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. If you are looking for tranquility, stunning desert scenery, and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. We would return anytime!"

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

"A very romantic place perfect for couples who like wild retreats"

It is hard to think of something i did not like. Overall the experience was great.

"The hut had a stunning view. The bed was abit small for 2 people to sleep comfortably but we managed. The food from the cafe was great."

Had a bit of unfinished look about the premises though the geodesic domes were great.

"Shtiuie and Abu-Shamir are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!"

The location is misleading. The place is actually inside the beduiwen village which is crowded by animals and noise. My friend wasnt able to sleep. as for me it was not a problem.

"Leuke locatie, makkelijk te vinden, goede verbinding met de uitstappen die we wilden doen. Onthaal was zeer goed, duidelijke uitleg, vriendelijk. Uitchecken ook vlotjes verlopen. Op de camping zelf was het zeer rustig, parking aan de lodgetent was zeker een meerwaarde! Lodgetent op zich was zeer proper, ruim, bedlinnen roken erg fris, dus zeer aangenaam. Prijs kwaliteit zeker een aanrader! We hebben er van genoten en gaan in de toekomst zeker nog eens beroep doen van deze accomodatie"

Locatie van de lodgetent was dicht tegen de straatkant waaraan ook een parking gelegen was. Dit zorgde wel voor wat lawaai aangezien er ook veel verkeer was in de nacht. We konden dit gelukkig wel weg filteren :)

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.
