"Our regular stop on our way to Montreal from Toronto when leaving after work. The river is always a wonderful sight. Not fancy, but clean and the staff are always welcoming."

"Couldn't have asked for a quieter location to spend a few relaxing and cozy days. Off season booking allows for a very quiet stay. The staff were very friendly and looking to help us with anything. The themed cottages offer an enhanced experience over what one might expect in a standard hotel. Given that they are located right by the water we were provided with an exceptional viewing experience from sunrise to sunset. It's far enough away from any high traffic areas that the sound of vehicles isn't an issue, yet it's close enough to stores that one may need without being an inconvenience."
"As much as the fireplace was an absolute joy to sit in front of, the heat did not quite reach the bedroom. Nothing we couldn't fix with a warm blanket but something to consider nonetheless."
"This was a last minute booking and I arrived just after the published office hours. I rang the doorbell and was greeted and checked in promptly. I would be leaving before the breakfast service so the owner went out of the way to fix me a plate with fruit, breakfast sandwich, juice box and granola bar. The room upon entering had the gas fireplace running. The whole experience as short as it was was very pleasant and relaxing. I will be returning."

"The breakfast was pre packaged for us, not sure if this was normal or jut because there we’re only a few of us for breakfast on Monday morning. Breakfast was adequate and there was plenty. I’m not a fan of sausage so the sausage sandwich was a nonstarter for me. We were staying in early November so the ducks and geese were migrating and rafting over night on the river. Great to see."
