"We had stayed for a week at Hotel Utama, then went to Isla del Sol for a few days. Returned to Utama for a one night stay and collect our luggage generously stored by the hotel. Our room (#105) was clean, comfortable and like coming home. Beds are comfortable, linen and blankets lovely. Shower was working with hot water available. Staff are super friendly and sweet, always available if you need assistance with anything. Location is quiet and peaceful, a short walk from main plaza. Front rooms have great lake views. In our opinion, Hotel Utama has warmth and a great big heart and it'd be hard to find another accommodation in Copacabana that ticks all the boxes 💕 If we ever return to Copa, we'd run back to this family-business accommodation. Perfect stay 👌"

"The shower notice worried me and after trying it one time and not getting the right temperature, and experiencing a mild shock when turning it on, I didn’t use it again. I managed the walk up from town, but it’s steep and at high altitude left me very out of breath. I was glad I had my hiking pole."

"Clean, comfortable, well located hotel with kind and helpful hosts. Highly responsive on Whatsapp offering great advice about transportation, border crossings and Isla del Sol. Room was comfortable, warm enough, a decent shower, and everything was spotlessly clean. Free snacks, fruit, coffee, teas and filtered water. Free bag storage. Close to everything and very good value for money. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Copacabana."
