"This was a perfect place to stay in Tupiza ahead of and after the Salt Flats tour. Very good value for money, spacious and comfortable room, powerful warm shower and great breakfast! There is also a well equipped shop downstairs which is very convenient and they offer a fantastic laundry service for an extra fee. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It is about a 10 minute walk across the bridge to the bus station/main town. Not a whole lot in Tupiza in terms of amenities and pretty much all restaurants are closed on Sundays but there is a well equipped kitchen in the hostel which we used to cook dinner with supplies from the shop downstairs."

"No air conditioning in the room and it gets really hot in Tupiza so the room can get uncomfortably warm."

"The hosts are kind and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and clean, secure parking is a big plus and you can walk to the centre for restaurants and shops. It's also great that they have a little supermarket on site. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again."

"It will be good to have a shower curtain to prevent water spraying the shower and either get new mattresses or put something a bit more solid underneath them to prevent them from sinking. Breakfast is okay, some dulce de leche or maple syrup will be a nice addition and butter instead of margarine ☺️"

"Very clean, good hot showers. The owners were really lovely and friendly. The second room we stayed in, the bed and pillows were excellent. There is a shop on site and a good kitchen to use to make your own meals."

"The first room we stayed in, the bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable. Also, I didn’t like the breakfast, there was variety but it would be nice if we could prepare our own fruit as when it is cut up and left out it goes bad."

"Recommended by Lonely Planet to organise the 4 day Salar d'Uyuni tour from Hostal Butch Cassidy with Voy Tours. The hostel is clean & very comfortable, lovely breakfast, very kind, humble & obliging family. The tour was organised by the hostel owner exactly as we wanted & when. We returned to Butch Cassidy for a night after the tour (finished in Uyuni but we came back to Tupiza with the driver). It was all perfect. We couldn't have had a better tour driver (Christobal Ribera) or more comfortable vehicle (Toyota Lexus)."
