Sandpiper Apartments

"Lovely double aspect room with lots of sunshine coming into the room. Loved the balcony - but could be a problem in the height of the season as it would have been overlooked if the rooms near ours was occupied as their balconies were very close. I would have loved to use the swimming pool if it had been heated, but being that our stay was in March the water was too cold."

"The description of the location was a little misleading as one of the pubs mentioned had closed down - some years ago, but the details had not been amended on the website - which did in fact influence our choice in Sandpiper’s favour, and we were disappointed that it wasn’t nearer the supermarket mentioned in the write-up, either. Also, I put my suitcase in the corner of the bedroom flat - and when I moved it, I could see it had picked up a lot of dust, indicating that the corners of the bedroom weren’t very well cleaned!"

"Very well equipped kitchen, good quality of pots, pans etc - was a lifesaver at Bermuda's prices for eating out. Moira was super friendly and a great help before and during our stay - she also arranged our late checkout which was very useful with a toddler. The apartment itself was clean and in overall good condition, as there was a bit of a storm during our stay it was good we could turn the heating on ourselves."

"While location is good at the #7 bus route (direct connection to dockyards), it can take a little for busses to show up and especially going to St Georges is a bit of a journey. With your own electric car this location becomes much more convenient. Recommend to do any shopping in Hamilton or Warwick (Market Place) as stock is limited at the nearby gas station. The property was a bit smaller than what I expected from the pictures, the swimming pool is in the front garden, but very close to a rather busy road (no garden at the back)."

"The apartments are in a good location and being fairly central, it makes both ends of the island easily accessible by bus. Couple of restaurants within walking distance and 5 mins on bus to get to Grocery store. The apartments are pretty basic but gave us a good base for our visit, they are kept spotlessly clean and the grounds are very well maintained. Some amazing beaches just up the road at Warwick long bay and are only a short trip on the bus."

"This gem of a place was fabulous, so clean and comfortable, very spacious apartment, bed was very comfy, great location near bus stops and garage for fuel and food, BBQ was great, gardens for dining were so nice, great pool, has everything you will need and the staff are just wonderful, so very helpful. This is the place to stay."
