"The guesthouse is a cultural centre, full of local artworks. The room was located in a quiet area and had air conditioning. The staff were very polite and spoke English. There was also a swimming pool on site."

"With its friendly staff, with all the art and plants around it, the place emits very positive feelings. I enjoyed staying here. The basic room had a good size and the bathroom was fine too. I especially like dthe terrace in front with a table and a chair overlooking a grren courtyard. There is also a nice swimming pool with towels provided. The dining room facing the reception is a pleasant area to sit around. For dinner they also had local specialities like 'Vouandzou' (made with Bambara groundnuts), which I tried. For dessert there was a fantastic pineapple, presented in the shape of a pirogue. Breakfast with an omelette, ordered the evening before, was simple, but fine."

"The WiFi hardly ever worked, neither in the room nor in the dining hall. By the pool are only regular chairs, no loungers. For my meat dinner they had forgotten to add the meat. Credit cards are not accepted for payment. The accommodation is a bit far out of everything. To get to the room in the dark after dinner a flashlight is recommended."

"The team at the front desk are professional, warm and accommodating. The team go out of their way to make you feel at home and the facilities are beautiful. I was ill one of the days and one of the girls at the front desk offered to make me something to settle my stomach. Really beautiful area, located in a easy to reach part of Porto Nuovo and the variety of performances and concerts on site as well which are a treat, the hotel guests can attend if they like making it an all rounded experience for peace but socialising if thats what you like,"

"the breakfast here was excellent; Fridoline kindly brought it up to my room in the morning and she also got my lunch and dinners arranged for me. Jean-Marie, the hotel taxi driver, is a very charming and friendly young man; he picked me up from the airport and drove me around the whole Porto Novo area showing me all the main touristic sights. he also drove to the medical centre for help with my ankle sprain and also took me to buy souvenirs of Benin. the hotel is a great place to stay in with excellent AC and wifi. the food from the restaurant was excellent. the bathroom in my hotel was one of the best bathrooms, and shower facilities, i have ever had in a hotel room, room number 8."
