"The breakfast was fine, LOVED the ginger coffee. Staff was very helpful. We love Clovis. Terry (Spelling?) did amazing job pursuing excellent service. He had Clovis walk and get a Taxi for us, you never find that kind of service here. The place was kept clean (Yeah Desire). I appreciated the LOCATION. It is close enough to downtown but far enough away to avoid the FUMES and NOISE of downtown. And having the farmers market so close and ability to pick up a taxi so close was really good. Having the closed gate and security made me feel safe. Enjoyed the pool."
"The country itself lacks the infostructure I am used to, but it is beyond your control. Poor internet connections made for humorous movie watching and the way I paid for the hotel was rather unusual, but added to my experience. Only suggestion would be to either make sure you inform guests (perhaps add a sign at the hotel) that breakfast is one free per room. This is again something I would not see in America, and any guests from there would be surprised. OR raise the rate enough to cover the free breakfast for BOTH guests per room (even better idea)."
"Location is better than downtown. Short walk to the lake. Food store within 10–15-minute walk. The farmer's market is a short 2-minute walk away. Clean facilities. Staff understand service and the service surpassed all expectations. They did my laundry, escorted me to the market, walked to the corner to get me a taxi when I was ready to leave. The food was good and presentation of same was beautiful. I recommend calling your order in ahead of time. comfortable bed, no issues in obtaining any toiletries I needed. Cleaned whenever I asked them. Pool was clean. Every time I left my apartment; staff was always available if I needed anything. Hard working, service orientated."
"I went understanding that Burundi does not have the infostructure as the USA does. This is beyond the hotels control. It is a little further from downtown, so if you are relying on taxi for transportation figure that into your travel budget. I wanted to avoid downtown, (too noisy and too many fumes for me) so this was the PERFECT LOCATION to avoid the noise and fumes of downtown."
