"The lift… the reviews did tell us. There is one lift and the doors open and close so frustratingly slowly. The lift itself once you’re in it is also very very slow. We found it easier a lot of the time to take the stairs which is no issue for us but may be for someone who is not able to take stairs. Bath/shower had no screen so floor would get very wet and slippery No plug sockets by bed. Or you had to unplug AC if you wanted to use the closest one to the bed Some furniture falling apart in room TV only has a couple of English channels. Not a big deal and not sure if this can be helped but something to consider"

"It is always a pleasure to return to the Central Club Sofia. This is a hotel from yesteryear with a distinct personality. Windows that actually open! Lovely spa. Lovely staff. And a cool vibe."
