"Thanks to the hotel's location just 3-5 minutes by car from the ocean, we were able to go to the ocean quickly in the morning. Overall, it was clean and comfortable,"

"but the fact that the room wasn't preheated when we arrived, meaning we had to wait for it to warm up, was a drawback. The air conditioning was set to 25 degrees, so it didn't warm up any faster. Also, the €15 extra charge for the hotel's own parking was the worst part. The price became quite expensive this way. Furthermore, the shampoo dispensers in the restrooms weren't fully filled before we arrived; there was a little left, enough for us, but it showed a lack of care. Also, I don't think the hotel had a view. From what we saw, there was no view from the rooms or even the ground floor. I couldn't find the pool either, maybe because it was winter and it was in a separate area."

"There was an awful smell in all 4 bedrooms that was so bad, the rooms where so cold and it was December, our jackets that got wet in the rain where still wet in the morning, it was freezing, the shower curtain was dirty and there was poo in the toilet from the occupant prior to us, we had a very basic apology that did not even include an explanation about the smell"

"Great location , not to far from Brugge . Room was great , parking secure and even a bar and they serve food in the evening for a great price."

"Quiet location but still close to town centre - 5 min drive / €15 taxi ride. Well stocked bar and good selection of value for money meals. Beds were very comfortable and air-conditioning would have been very welcome if the weather had been warmer. Staff very helpful. Lift to 2nd floor worked quickly. A good selection of places to visit leaflets on hand."

"The room was a good size but lacked places to store items e.g. shelves. In room tea and coffee facilities would have been useful. Maybe swap beans for small sausages in the hot section of the breakfast buffet."

"The hotel is well situated but quite a way from De Haan Center. The room was quiet despite being near the elevator. The Bistro was very welcoming and staffed by someone who knew what she was doing."

"Plenty of parking spaces, comfortable room and excellent breakfast. The staff in the breakfast area and the bar area were also very good. Heated swimming pool was a good temperature and pool area was very clean"

"The reception person was very sharp when we arrived. We were a few hours early but they insisted that we could not check in until 3pm. This was not the case as other guests were checking in before 3pm while we were waiting. The pool area was clearly signed no food, no glass or crockery and no smoking but there were guests doing all of these and we did not see any staff stopping this over the 2 days we were there. There were in fact 1 couple who were not even staying in the hotel who were there for over 5 hours eating and drinking food they had bought with them!"
