"We received a warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable and the hotel had made sure one of them had a walk-in shower for accessibility reasons. The breakfasts were worth the 20 Euros with good choice. The location is excellent being just ten minutes walk from the main Market Square."

"The timer on the lights in the corridor could be extended just a little so guests, particularly those who have mobility issues, don't get stranded in the dark."

"My opinion is that this beautiful hotel needs a little more focus from management: we found it strange that we only got one key for our room, despite repeatedly asking for a second key. As the key is also needed to turn on the lights in the room, this means that it is not possible for one of two guests to go to the sauna, for example, while the other rests in the room, as one of them will be sitting in the dark or the other will not be able to get back in without waking their partner. Some things also need repairing. Our window could not be opened at all on the first night (staff fixed this for the second night), and the door only closes with difficulty."

"The location is excellent—right in the centre of town, very easy to find, and close to shops and restaurants. The property itself is beautiful and feels like stepping into a medieval era. I really loved the character of the hotel, especially the design of the rooms and the overall atmosphere of the place."

"I prefer a hard pillow, but unfortunately, they didn’t have one available, which affected my sleep. Also, the lift to the 3rd floor was not working when we were leaving. Going down the stairs was quite difficult as they are steep, especially with luggage."

"Beautiful hotel and the staff were excellent. Very good location with underground parking 5 mins away. Approx £15 per 24 hours. Only 5-10 mins walk to the centre of Bruges. Very nice small supermarket near the car park. Very good breakfast, both English and continental provided. Nice cosy bar and lovely fireplace. We stayed in room 29 which was across a courtyard. Nice room with minibar and kettle with coffee and tea etc."
