"I had a guest with me who was not staying overnight. However, the hotel charged me for that guest and informed me that it is their policy not to welcome extra guests. I requested to see the documentation of this policy as I did not see it in the papers I was signing, but they were unable to produce any. Since I was unaware of this policy, I requested them to make an exception as it was early in the morning. I was already paying extra for the early check-in, and on top of that, they were asking for an additional 3.5k BDT just to check in a guest who would be there for only a few hours. Eventually, they agreed to reduce the charges to 1.5k BDT. Additionally, the hotel does not allow food from outside, which is inconvenient, especially for families with children, as children may not finish their meals and may get hungry again. In my opinion, the room rates should include guests, and the hotel should allow outside food, particularly for guests with children."
