Lake Heiterwang, a popular swimming lake, is a 20-minute walk away, while the Alpentherme Ehrenberg thermal bath can be reached in a 10-minute drive. You can find the Burgenwelt Ehrenberg with a museum in 5 minutes by car, and the rafting can be arranged in Bichlbach, 5 km away. Free private parking is available at Pension Posthansl. Carport parking is also possible for a surcharge.

"The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower. Every room has a balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Austrian Alps. The facilities are exceptional especially if you are traveling with kids. They have a play set, trampoline, and soccer goals set up on the property plus a ping pong table inside. They also rent e-bikes at the property."
