The traditionally furnished Appartementhaus Sonne offers rooms and apartments with a balcony and views of Lake Millstatt. Located directly on the shores of the lake, it is only about 150 metres from the shipping pier, the boat rental and the public beach. Guests can relax on the deck chairs in the sunbathing area. There is a children’s playground and a boccie court. On request, fresh bread rolls can be delivered to the apartments each morning. The apartments and rooms are located in the main building Appartementhaus Sonne and in the annexe Gästehaus Elisabeth. The centre of Millstatt is 2 km away from the Sonne Appartementhaus. In winter, guests enjoy free admission to the indoor pools in Millstatt and Spittal. Discounted ski passes are also available for the ski areas of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turracher Höhe, Goldeck and Katschberg.

"Just lovely hotel with gorgeous decor. Our room was very clean, bright, large area with couch and small kitchen with everything you would need. Lovely balcony with views. Comfy bed and pillows. Very large selection for breakfast which was awesome. Such a well run hotel in great location only 10min walk to lake swim area with cards given for free entry. Parking free right outside. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"A lovely apartment near to the lake. Short walk to Millstatt, with good restaurants (Lindenhof Wirtshaus was epic!). Host was so welcoming and very lovely to deal with. But, I have to say, the breakfast tipped the scales for me. I was going to give them a 9 (see comments below), but the breakfast was so damn good that I had to go for 10. I have enjoyed many buffet breakfasts in my time, all around the world, but the quality and variety served up in this small hotel was mind blowingly good. You should go stay there, just for the breakfast. Einfach sagenhaft!"
"Our bed was a little soft for our liking. Traffic noise also a little loud until later in the evening. And room was a bit hot due to no aircon. A fan in the room would be a good idea. Cooled down later on though. But did I mention the breakfast?? :-)"

"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

"It is a traditional apartment located on the border of the city center. On a hill, so it is a little walk up. It has a nice garden to lounge. Our appartement had a large balcony with a view of the lake. The staff is very friendly. It offers a private entrance to the lake."
