"I booked this property through Booking.com, but payment could not be processed through the platform and had to be made at the hotel by bank card. The final amount charged was higher than the price shown on Booking.com. This is the second time this has happened to me, which is disappointing and misleading. "The hotel was a lovely traditional hotel, beautiful and even more beautiful at night when lit up, the style and ambience did not disappoint at all. The Room was brilliant for our family logistics - two adjoining rooms. The staff were superb and helpful. English was widely spoken so this made the experience a little better for us. The roof top offered a great viewing point and cafe facilities. The restaurant food was excellent and waiters very friendly and helpful - its hard to fault the hotel; it was a great experience and felt fortunate to have chosen this hotel as always a gamble."
"Only very minor, the pool was closed and us being a Brits we swim even when its cold outside! The restaurant was also closed several evenings during our short stay due to private parties which we had not been aware of (the restaurant was excellent and had planned to use it but couldn't on these occasions). The tea in the room was not replenished and when we asked for some tea bags one of the waiters said we would have to pay (this was only one waiter - all others were exceptional friendly and pleasant and cannot be faulted)."
