"A small hotel in the heart of Durrës. Official category 2 stars. We give 2 stars. 2x triple room for cost 125 euros per night. The room is polite and clean. Good location. Beach across the road. The breakfast was quite simple, but everyone will probably find something. Service and reception friendly and polite. Very nice ladies in the sewing shop. A good place to stop for a day or two while passing through. "The hotel is extremely clean, super cosy, very close to the beach, there is a stunning view from most of the rooms, the beds and the pillows are sooooooooooo comfortable (you could sleep for days), the breakfast doesn't have a big variety of products, but everything is excellent quality and super tasty and you can park your car in the yard. The best part are the owners, super sweet, warm, welcoming and friendly, I was single lady travelling alone with two kids, felt so safe and cosy there, like I was visiting family members, not staying at a hotel, my kids also loved everything about the hotel. Last but not least what you get for the money you pay is excellent."

"Our stay at the Vila Max was exceptional, the place is near the beach so you can just walk to the beach, view it from your balcony, or whatever you like. Rooms are very clean and huge extra bed inside as well. Breakfast was also great, a lot of fresh fruits from the garden, prepared early and if you have special requests they went out of their way to meet them. They speak little English but his son helps to translate everything for you. I am definitely booking again. That is my go to place when l go back to Albania ♥️"
"To be honest there was not much that l didn’t like, but there is room to improve in some areas like having a kettle in rooms with tea cups so that guests can make tea in their rooms at any given time. I had to come down for tea. That’s the only thing I would like added."
