"The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming — it truly felt like being at my grandmother’s house. They treated us to local sweets and coffee. The building was traditional and perfectly located right in the heart of the town."

"It took us almost half an hour to find Eva’s guesthouse, as there was no sign on the door and the entrance was not directly on the main street. Also, it got a bit chilly during the night and there was no air conditioning available. Outside noise was quite disturbing until late after midnight, although it’s worth noting that it was a Saturday night."

"Me and my husband stayed at Eva guesthouse for 1 night and we had a wonderful experience. Our host were an elderly couple who were very welcoming and they also served us an orange sweet dish. We were amazed by their lovely gesture. The house was traditional and spotless and it is very close to the main bazaar. We highly recommend staying here if you plan your visit to Gjirokaster!"

"Eva, the host, is such a fantastic lady! You can feel the pleasure she has to have someone in her house and show the premises. You feel like family, truly welcomed. You actually share the bathroom with just one more room, and it's always clean. You can use the kitchen either to store stuff on the fridge or to cook something simple. The best feature is that the location is just perfect, you are a few steps from the centre of action, restaurants, shops and the castle, on a city which is very steep and other locations would be miserable."

"There could be a table on the room, where we could work or have a snack. There was no AC but luckily it was not that hot. Needs more fans, though."

"I really enjoyed the location, which is right in the city center. You can even see the old market from one of the room's windows. The lady was very friendly and helpful, and she also provided us with breakfast in the morning :). I recommend this place 100%!"

"the two hosts are just so kind! i was feeling very sick and they were very nice and offered me tea and gave me the space to rest. The room is very spacious and comfortable and the location is also great! Very nice if you want to relax a bit and fill up the social battery from all the hosteling"
