"The host speaks limited English but is EXTREMELY kind and accommodating and keen to assist. We mostly communicated via WhatsApp messages (presumably assisting her by translator apps). Host cooked dinner which was so filling and tasted great. Clean room and bed kept us warm during a very cold evening. Accomodation is in the middle of Valbonë / easy to get a lift to the start of the Valbonë - Theth hike (speak to host if needing a guide). Just a great stay, predominantly due to the host. Basic accomodation but to be expected in a very small town."

"We stayed in late April therefore it was a little chilly in the room. But were given extra warm blankets."

"Very nice hospitality, good location. Extra blankets were available and also slippers. The dinner was tasty, and the portions were very large. We also got a packed lunch instead of breakfast, and it was just what we needed for the trip. We took the option of a 4x4 pick up to the valbone-theth trail start. Best 30Eur we spent the entire trip :)"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this family-run guesthouse. The hosts are very hospitable and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was very nice with great views to the mountains. Everything is very clean. The bathroom is one of those where the toilet and the shower are not separated – no inconvenience, just good to know in case you've never seen this before. The food is great and the portions are very generous. For dinner you can choose the "normal" dinner for 13€ and the vegetarian version for 10€ (both great). The guesthouse is a good starting point for many hikes and if you would like to go to the end of the valley to start hiking from there, there is a taxi service. It costs 30€ (which I personally find a bit expensive but if you can share the taxi with other hikers it's ok). The terrace in front of the house is great to relax after a long day of hiking and enjoy the stunning views."

"The hosts were really kind and great breakfast and we also enjoyed once lunch and dinner which was great as well. Beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet."

"Very friendly staff, nice room with beautiful views from the balcony and the terrace to where the food is served. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The food was abundant and really nice (breakfast was included and dinner for only 13€ (10 for vegetarian) extra, which was a good choice!). We really enjoyed our stay here."

"The shower and toilet are in one place (Thailand style), which makes the bathroom/toilet get completely wet when you shower of course, but to be honest I have seen it before in other countries and it's perfectly doable (in my opinion); just good to know."
